Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Demo day
14th July 2012 13:00-17:00
Google Campus London
Are you building the next big thing as a product or service but aren't sure of what to do next? Well MVP demo day is for you.
With all of the available buzzwords surrounding startup founders and enthusiasts, one of the top phrases is MVP: Minimal Viable Product. We believe in the concept but it has gotten so popular that people are quick to use it without genuinely understanding it. With no fault to Eric Reis, as he’s clearly explained the idea of MVP, people are just quick to dump half baked ideas or products in the name of ‘MVP’ and then look bewildered when they don’t get proper support or traction.
It is time to refine the business model, find the market that is most in need, and narrow your goals to solving one key problem that affects a lot of people. This is the essence of a minimum viable product (MVP).
Founders and founding teams will have the chance to demo their products and gain exposure plus interest from both potential users and potential funders as well as receiving immediate feedback on their pitch.
The pitch session is not about achieving funding immediately, but gaining interest, making connections, and hopefully starting relevant discussions with those that are interested in helping you bringing your idea to reality by joining your team.
Our aim is to bring executives and non-executive directors, Angel investors, innovators, entrepreneurs and Venture Capitalists together to simplify the traditional route of starting a company, by turning the “founding cycle” into a more collaborative process early in the development of new business ideas.
