Middleton Enterprises Ltd
Jeremy Middleton owns Middleton Enterprises Ltd, which is a private investment company that has made a substantial contribution to the North East’s economy by investing in and providing business advice to entrepreneurial businesses.
During the last five years, Middleton Enterprises Ltd has supported nine North East businesses, generally from start-up, usually taking a minority stake and offering strategic advice to support growth. The businesses include Tanfield Foods Ltd (Consett), D-Line Ltd (North Shields), Ethical Superstore Ltd (Team Valley), Business Impact Ltd (Team Valley), Thermastrate (Cramlington), Cottages of Northumberland Ltd (Newcastle), and For Sale Signs Analysis (Jarrow).
Mr Middleton believes that the right investments can thrive in any climate and he has ambitions to continue to grow his investment in North East businesses.
He was one of the founders of HomeServe plc in 1990, which represents the company’s core investment. A FTSE250 support services company, HomeServe has a market capitalisation in excess of £1bn.
Mr Middleton also has extensive residential and commercial property interests.
He is chairman of the Conservative National Convention and also Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party Board.
