Vodafone recently released six new mobile broadband packages specifically designed to prevent confusion in the marketplace.

The mobile phone giant says the new tariffs have been “tailored” for the SME sector.

All six packages include internet security software, online back-up services and BT Openzone Wi-Fi access.

They start from just £3 a month and range in contract length from three months to 24 months.

Customers can use the packages with mobiles, tablets and laptops.

And there are useful add-ons that will no doubt appeal to the SME market. One of the contracts, which costs £36.50 and has a minimum length of 12 months, offers 1GB of data to use across 35 European destinations in addition to the 5GB of UK data allowance.

Vodafone Enterprise marketing director Peter Boucher said of the new packages: “We have listened to our small and medium sized business customers and they have told us time and time again that the ‘one-package-fits-all’ approach doesn’t work for them.

“With so many different price plans and devices available in the market, business customers feel blinded by jargon and technology.

“We’ve completely redesigned mobile broadband with our small and medium sized business customers in mind.”
