Small businesses in Wales are being encouraged to take advantage of specialist business advice on offer during Business Advice Week, which runs from November 28 until December 2 at 12 regional centres.

The advice sessions take the form of dedicated one-to-one sessions that help businesses get the information they need to grow and develop.

This year the Business Advice Week is specifically dedicated to firms that have been trading for over a year and employ up to 25 staff. It is also designed to raise awareness of the amount of business support available to firms through the Business Information Hotline on 03000 60 3000.

The confidential one-to-one sessions will take place with business advisers and will aim to identify the firm’s business needs and show them where they can find the best advice tailored to their needs.

Due to popularity, businesses have been advised to book ahead for a slot.

Edwina Hart, Business Minister, said the Welsh Government is committed to providing support and guidance to ensure businesses can grow sustainably.

The 12 regional centres that will play host to the one-to-one sessions are located in Bangor, Wrexham, Llandudno Junction, Brecon, Newtown, Aberystwyth, Merthyr Tydfil, Newport, Cardiff, Swansea, Carmarthen and Pembroke Dock.
