Independent payment processor Sage Pay has launched an initiative providing businesses across the UK with the tools they need to get up and running online.
Designed to break down the barriers to ecommerce and support fledgling businesses with what they need to start trading online, the new solution encompasses everything from free payment processing to free accounting and business planning software.
Businesses spend considerable amounts of time exploring how to get started online and getting a merchant account up and running is an intricate part of this process. High set-up costs can make acquiring a merchant account one of the most painful parts of setting up an online business, with Sage Pay’s 2011
E-business Benchmark Report revealing that one-in-ten internet business owners pay over £500 in initial set-up costs.
Empowering start-ups and small businesses to kick-start their online services, Sage Pay’s Merchant Services Package contains everything they need to be able to start trading quickly. Businesses signing up for this recently launched package will now also receive:
- One month’s free payment processing (Sage Pay Go)
- Sage’s ‘Planning for Business’ software
- 120 days extra free trial of Sage One Accounts
- A £50 PayPal credit voucher
“At Sage Pay we know how daunting it can be when starting a business and are passionate about making the process as seamless as possible for our customers. This initiative is an extension of our current customer support outreach and a major statement of intent for us in 2012, as we seek to help businesses nationwide to kick-start their online business”, commented Moeen Curmoula, Product Marketing Manager at Sage Pay.
The promotional offer will run until February 16. For further information, please visit:
